ACC |
Arteria Carotis communis; engl. CCA; Sie entspringt rechts aus dem Truncus brachiocephalicus und links direkt aus dem Aortenbogen. Sie verläuft am Hals entlang des M.sternocleidomastoideus und zweigt sich am Bulbus Caroticus mit einer Bifurkation in die ACI und ACE auf. Die ACC wird zunächst im Querschnitt gesucht und anschließend im Längsschnitt dargestellt und dient als Anhaltspunkt für die Einschätzung der Stenosegrade er hirnversorgenden Gefäße. |
ACE |
Arteria Carotis externa; engl. ECA; versorgt Hals und Kopf. Sonographisch lässt sie sich von der ACI dadurch abgrenzen, dass man extakranial abgehende Gefäße darstellen kann. |
ACI |
Arteria Carotis interna; engl. ICA; stärkerer Ast an der Bifurkation der ACC. Sie gibt keine extrakraniellen Äste ab und versorgt das Gehirn über den Circulus Arteriosus Willisii von vorne sowie das Auge |

AS |
Arteria Subclavia; Die AS enspringt rechts aus dem Truncus brachiocephalicus und links direkt aus dem Aortenbogen. Die AS gibt als 1.Ast die AV ab. Im Verdachtsfall eines Subclavian Steal Phänomen muss auch die AS mittels Duplexsonographie auf Stenosen untersucht werden. |
AV |
Arteria Vertebralis; Die AV entspringt beidseits direkt als 1.Ast aus der Arteria Subclavia und verläuft durch die Furche des Trigonum Scalenovertebrale (zwischen M.scalenus anterior und Mlongus colli) bis zur Halswirbelsäule (Segment V1). Dort tritt sie durch die foramina des Processus transversus des 6.HWK beidseits in HWS ein (ab hier V2). Auf Höhe des Axis (2.HWK) treten sie nach lateral aus um durch die foramina transversarium atlantis durchzutreten (V3) und sich hinter der Pons zur A.basilaris zu vereinigen (V4). Diese bildet von hinten/unten den Circulus Arteriosus Willisii aus dem die intrakraniellen, hirnversorgenden Gefäße abgehen. In der Sonographie wird sie durch die Schallschatten der Wirbelkörper identifiziert. |

Color Bruit |
Synonym für Turbulenzen. Diese sind im Farbdoppler als schnelle Wechsel zwischen rot und blau zu sehen und werden deshalb wörtlich übersetzt als "Farblärm" bezeichnet. |
Duplexsonographie |
Die Kombination eines herkömmlichen B-Bildes mit einem PW-Doppler. Der Begriff wird in der Praxis und damit auch auf diesem Lernmedium oftmals als Synonym für die Dopplersonographie verwendet. |

Subclavian Steal |
Durch eines Stenose der AS kommt es zu einer Flussumkehr in der ipsilateralen AV. Bei Tätigkeiten mit Überkopfarbeit "stiehlt" die AS zur besseren Versorgung der Armmuskulatur ihre Blutversorgung aus der ipsilateralen AV und damit aus dem Circulus Arteriosus Willisii. Das führt zu einer Minderdurchblutung des Gehirns und in weiterer Folge Schwindel und Drop-Attacks. Zum Ausschluss von Subclavian Steal muss die Flussrichtung in der AV jener der ipsilateralen ACC entsprechen. |
